Why you should hire me?

In today’s society, it is very challenging to find good employees. Good hires are not happening by accident or by luck anymore. Yet employees are also recognizing that valuable employees are quickly becoming rare commodity. There is lot of confusion these days whether a person is competent or not. Most time, employers don’t know what kind of workers they hired until it is too late. Hiring wrong people may lead to serious disaster. Some skills are universal to every job, and others are job specific. All jobs require a good work ethic and problem solving. The profile of good employee includes a variety of personal attributes, work qualities, and being a good team player.

The beginnings

I am Elaisa Joy Rogelio, currently working as equipment specialist in Amkor Technology of the Philippines, being employed for almost 9 years. I could say that I already encountered different types of employees, some are good and some are just working to get paid. In order to survive, we need a job to sustain our daily needs. We need to be practical to have financial support. Being the eldest among the seven siblings in the family, I endured a lot to have stable job with decent pays. During in my younger days, I used to do selling snacks in school, selling bottles and plastics in junkshops and get paid for very small amount. Also, I remember when I was in high school I also do tutoring and get 100php for 1hour. Every penny in the family was hard-earned. From that moment, I promised to myself that I will do everything to have a high-paying job. My parents admitted to me that they could not afford to send me in college. All by myself, I took different scholarship examination and passed it. I finished my three-year course and found a job. My salary was not enough to support my family. It took two jobs before I get hired in the position that gave me good salary. As the years passed by, I aim for good salary increase and job promotion so I work hard. But then, the reality taught me that being a hardworking person is not enough, I need to level up. And that was the time I decided to continue my studies. 

Me as an Equipment Specialist (Wirebond Technician)

My current work as an equipment specialist serves as the bread and butter of the family. I am able to support the studies of my siblings, already built our house-from stones, and has small amount of savings. I really love my job. It is the main reason why I stayed long; it may not give me my ideal salary but I always get me excited to do my job. I get tired but my passion remains. 

The machines I am handling are the following:

KNS (ICONN, ICONN PLUS)

KNS (MAXUM,MAXUM PLUS)

The package I am certified are: TSSOP, SSOP and PSOP.

As an Equipment specialist I am capable of the following: 

•          Perform setup of the machine
•          Can do manual programming.
•          Perform parameters optimization on ball, stitch and looping.
•          Perform machine calibrations.
•          Analyze downtime and repair of machine
•          Certified in handling gold and copper devices.
•          Assist Engineers in handling new and old products.
•          Generate reports and logs of the machine.
•          Monitor the quality, output and utilization of machines.
•          Acting Officer-In-Charge in the absence of supervisor.

I can proudly say that hiring me will add the company’s asset. I am confident that I can do the entire jobs that are given to me. I am open for new learning. I am motivated person. I believe that everything is possible. I am goal oriented. Process maybe important but I am more on the results.
